And now with so much time that we have during the pandemic, viewers are looking forward to shows which can take them down the memory lane. From romantic dramas to high pitched comedies, from sci-fiction to scripted realities, there is always something for the teenagers to keep them glued to their screens.

So, here’s a list of teenager’s current favorite shows on HULU :

1. High Fidelity

Released on 14 Feb 2020 on HULU, High Fidelity is an American rom-com web TV series created by Sarah Kucserka, Veronica West.

The TV series is an adaptation of the titular novel by Nick Hornby, which follows the story of Zoe Kravitz, a teen admirer of music & pop culture who owns a record store in her neighborhood.

Zoe’s highest concern is to fix her relationship with the man who dumped her just a year ago. A great remake of the 2000 film that focuses on Rob, who deals with her failed relationships alongside her music snobbery.

With great performances by the supporting cast, High Fidelity makes for a perfect teen series to look out for.

2. What Do We Do In The Shadows

One of the most promising mockumentaries that we have this year is What Do We Do In The Shadows.

The series is an adaptation of the 2014 film What Do We Do In The Shadows written by Clement and Taika Waititi that follows the story of 3 vampires who live together in the city of New Zealand, dealing with the humdrum of daily life.

The TV series is about a group of 4 roommates played by Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou & Mark Proksch, the vampires who are striving to live in the terrifying place of Staten Island. A freakish vampire comedy that is about the vampires who try to deal with daily life complexities being totally housebound.

3. Runaways

An adaptation of Adrian Alphona and Brian K. Vaughan’s Marvel comic, Runaways is a teenage drama created by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.

The series develops around a group of high school teenagers who are on the verge of discovering & accepting their booming superpowers. Runaways come across as a light-hearted teen tale of superheroes. A compelling mystery that develops as a group of teenagers deals with their superpowers while exploring the dark secrets of their parents.

4. Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Exciting storytelling by Joss Whedon, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a story about Buffy who is a normal high school student during the day & transforms into a ruthless vampire during the night.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is not just the same old story about vampires, but it gives out a social message that deals with real problems like depression, sexuality, drugs, and consent while marrying.

Set up in the ’90s the story develops as the characters deal with adulthood & the complexities that life throws at us while growing up.
